MetaSystems presented the prototype of Ikaros 7 at the Annual Meeting of the German Society of Human Genetics (GfH 2025) in Innsbruck, Austria. At our booth, visitors had the opportunity to explore the new user interface and test the enhanced automation features of Ikaros 7 for the very first time. The brand-new software received highly positive feedback from professionals in clinical and research cytogenetics. In addition to the hands-on demonstrations, our team was invited to give a presentation on Ikaros 7, highlighting its core innovations and the potential impact on laboratory workflows. Dr. Sebastian Maxeiner led the audience through the new features of the upcoming Ikaros version, showcasing the anticipated improvements in convenience and speed for editing metaphases and karyograms. Our preview brochure provides a detailed overview of the key features and innovations in Ikaros 7. Ikaros 7 is currently in the final development stage and is expected to be released in mid-2025.
